How long does the drying process take?
Drying times vary depending on the type of service and humidity levels. Generally, it takes about 20 minutes per room.
Can my area rug and carpet be cleaned during the same visit?
Yes, both can be cleaned in the same visit. However, the area rug needs to be taken to a clean hard service and cannot be dried over the wet carpet. Often times, the area rug is taken to our facility to be cleaned and delivered back once it is dry.
How long will it take before my carpet is completely dry?
Drying time is heavily based on the environment of the room. Factors such as: humidity levels, airflow, and the type of carpet are all factors that play into the drying process. Generally, the use of your air conditioning and heating system will also help speed the process. Although it may take up to 24 hours for the carpet to dry, you can walk on it as soon as we are finished so long as street shoes are removed to avoid re-soiling.
Will water damage my carpet?
If not properly extracted, water does have the capability to damage carpet. However, with the method D&G Carpet Cleaning Service utilizes and the strength of our industrial vacuum almost 100% of the water will be removed.
When can my children and pets go on the carpet?
The carpet can be walked on immediately after the cleaning with clean feet or indoor shoes, but it is recommended that there is limited activity and traffic on the newly cleaned carpet until it is completely dry.
Will cleaning my carpet make it soil faster?
This issue normally arises from cleaning residues being left in the carpet. However, D&G Carpet Cleaning Service utilizes modern methods to rinse and virtually extract all of the cleaning agents out of the carpet.
Are the cleaning agents hazardous to my children or pets?
Although the cleaning solution we use is both family and environmentally friendly, it is best to limit contact between your children or pets and the recently cleaned carpet.
Do I need to be present while my carpet is being cleaned?
Prior to performing our carpet cleaning service it is recommended that you are present so we can discuss any specific needs or concerns you may have. After, it is not necessary for you to be present because we are trained professionals that you can trust.
